GATES

Gates

These gates are doing the same job a good front door does, just from farther out. They frame the entrance to your property, set the mood, and create that first moment of “oh, this is nice” before anyone even gets close to the house. Look at how the lines, curves, and patterns echo the railings, doors, or even the roofline. That repetition is what makes everything feel designed as a whole instead of a collection of separate pieces.

What I really appreciate here is the balance between strength and style. The frames and posts are clearly built to handle real use and real weather, but the artwork and details keep them from feeling harsh or industrial. Wildlife scenes, scrolls, clean modern bars, or simple panel work all tell a slightly different story. When a gate is done well, it doesn’t just keep things in or out. It welcomes the right people in a way that feels secure, intentional, and very much “you.”
